Our Church

St. Mary & Martyr Marina Coptic Orthodox Church in Gresham, Oregon is the second coptic (Egyptian) church in Oregon has been established in April 2021 to share the Orthodox faith within the local community by celebrating liturgical services and hosting meetings and events for prayers, spiritual growth, fellowship, and community service.

It was approved on February 5th, 2021 by His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, and established by the help and support of reverend Father Antonious Baky the Vicar of the Coptic Orthodox Archdiocese of Northern California & Western United States.

The firs Liturgy held in the church was the Last Friday of the Great Lent Liturgy on April 23rd, 2021 by reverend Father Danial ElSoryani.

The church established to serve Gresham area and located in Troudale OR.

In the First year after the church was established, it was bee served of several reverend Fathers on misions from Egypt

Our Beloved Father Bishoy Thabet Michael was nominated to serve the church and he served our church on June 1st, 2022 till November 30th 2022. God may bless his service and perpetuate his priesthood
